PRIVACY POLICY
Privacy Policy
Classico Inc. (hereinafter “the Company”) understands the importance of protecting personal information so that our customers may use our services with confidence. We meticulously manage your privacy and personal data. When you use our site, place an order, or access our services, the purposes of use will be clearly stated in our Privacy Policy and your consent obtained—so please read the following carefully.
Purpose of Use
The purposes for which we collect or use personal information are as follows:

  • For shipping our products and the provision of our products and services
  • For compiling and analyzing statistical data (e.g., browsing and purchase history), conducting surveys, and researching and developing our products and services
  • For responding to customer inquiries and contacting you
  • For after-sales service and to provide information regarding our products and services
  • For any other purpose that was disclosed or notified at the time of collection
  • The personal information we collect (e.g., name, billing address, telephone number, shipping address, email, and details about your internet environment) may be provided to your card issuer for detecting and preventing unauthorized use (3D Secure). If your card issuer is located abroad, this information may be transferred to that country. In the case of minors, this service will only be used with the consent of a parent or guardian.

In addition to the above purposes, we use pseudonymized data derived from browsing and purchase histories to conduct advertising, statistical analysis, surveys, and research aimed at developing and improving our products and services.
Management of Personal Information
We manage the personal information entrusted to us with utmost care, making every effort to prevent leakage, loss, or inaccuracies. Our internal regulations prohibit the unnecessary retention of personal data, require encryption of communication channels, and protect devices handling personal information from unauthorized external access. We ensure that all personnel handling personal data are fully aware of proper management practices. Additionally, we have appointed a personal information manager and established a system to consult external experts when needed.

Please note that pseudonymized data is managed in a manner akin to personal information in accordance with applicable laws.
Provision or Outsourcing of Personal Information to Third Parties
Without your consent, we will not provide or outsource the personal information we collect to any third party except in the following cases:

• When required by law
• When outsourcing all or part of the operations related to personal information to an external service provider. In such cases, we will select companies with sufficient data protection measures, enter into contracts regarding personal information protection, and supervise them as necessary. This may include outsourcing tasks such as order processing, product delivery, and email dispatch under non-disclosure agreements with vendors or partner companies.
• When disclosure is deemed essential to protect the rights, property, or safety of the Company and its customers under our membership terms and other provisions, including information exchanges with entities that mitigate fraud and credit risk
• When it is necessary for the improvement of public health or the promotion of healthy child development and obtaining consent is impractical
• When national or local government agencies or their designees require cooperation to perform statutory duties, and obtaining consent would hinder such performance
We will not provide your personal information to any third party other than our designated business partners. In particular, we do not disclose, lend, or sell information to list brokers or competitors.

Moreover, while we may include third-party brochures or samples as part of our product delivery, we do not provide or disclose your personal information to those companies. If a need arises to provide personal data to a third party without prior consent, we will obtain your consent beforehand.
Regarding Disclosure, Correction, and Other Requests for Personal Information
We will promptly comply with requests for the disclosure, correction, addition, deletion, suspension of use, or erasure (collectively “disclosure, etc.”) of personal information (including records under Articles 29(1) and 30(3) of the Act on the Protection of Personal Information).

To request disclosure, etc., please submit the necessary details to identify the relevant personal information along with a valid government-issued ID (one of the following: driver’s license, passport, health insurance card, resident certificate, certified copy of the resident record, family register, alien registration certificate, resident card, or individual number card). For resident certificates or family registers, please submit an original document issued within the past six months.
A fee of ¥1,000 (excluding tax) per request applies, and for overseas requests, additional actual expenses may be charged.
However, if disclosure is prohibited by law or if certain essential information for our operations cannot be deleted, such cases will be handled accordingly.
