Classico x Doebs Search: Painless MRI Breast Cancer Screening Gown, 1st Anniversary of Launch
Classico is pleased to announce that this month marks the first anniversary of the launch of the “Next Generation Breast Cancer Screening Wear,” developed in collaboration with Doibus Search, Inc. which offers painless MRI breast cancer screening.
On the occasion of the first anniversary, Doibus Search will also launch the “#Gentle Breast Cancer Examination Campaign” to share the thoughts and feelings before and after breast cancer screening with as many people as possible. Classico supports the purpose of this campaign.
Background and Results of the Development of the Examination Clothes
In conventional breast cancer screening, breast compression by mammography is painful in some cases, and the patient’s anxiety about being seen and the “pain” of the mammogram have become barriers to the examination.
On the other hand, “painless MRI breast cancer screening” is a method that does not compress the breast and allows examination while wearing clothes, and is attracting attention as a method that reduces pain and achieves zero radiation exposure.
In the process of joint development, this examination gown reflects the opinions of both the examinees and the medical field, and has been devised to be “difficult to see when lying face down,” “considerate of body lines,” and “easy to put on and take off. Another feature of this product is its design, which breaks through the problem of the conventional need to remove the examination gown, and aims to realize a clothed examination that can be handled by a technician of the opposite sex.
The background and thoughts behind the development of this product are also introduced in our past articles. Please take a look.

The campaign is a social networking campaign in which participants are asked to share their feelings before and after the checkup, along with familiar “pink/brown” items, on social networking sites.
