Notebook Update: Wearing a Test Wear that Supports “Pain-Free Breast Cancer Screening” – A Form of Peace of Mind Revealed One Year after the Launch

Mammography (mammography) is generally the most common type of breast cancer screening. The breast is compressed against a plate for imaging, which can be painful, and the psychological barriers of “pain” and “embarrassment” are one of the reasons why people hesitate to undergo mammography.
Doebs Search Inc. offers a new option for painless MRI breast cancer screening. The breast is not pinched, is not seen, and does not use radiation, making it psychologically and physically less burdensome.

Classico co-developed a special examination wear for this checkup and launched it in the fall of 2024, marking exactly one year anniversary this year.
The design does not require the chest to be bare, and can be worn as if it were everyday clothing. It also incorporates a device that makes it easy to position the garment during inspections, making it user-friendly for on-site staff.
For this interview, we spoke with a technologist working at a clinic where the product has actually been introduced and a staff member of Doebs Search, who was in charge of joint development, about the reaction of patients and how they feel about the product in the field.
